Born in Freshie, brewed in Brookvale, loved by locals, Freshwater Brewing Co. brews clean, balanced and thirst-quenching beers. Classic styles full of flavour, easy to drink and never overcomplicated. Beer for everyone, best enjoyed cold and shared with good company.

Brewery Notes

That bunch of tanks tucked away at the back of Freshie Clubhouse? That’s where the magic happens. We’ve been conjuring up banging beers since our independent craft brewery was founded in Freshwater in 2021. We later moved here to Brookevale, brought in award-winning brew master Zac Pauling to create a cracking range of pales and lagers, and the rest is thirst-quenching history.

Core range of beers

Clubhouse Lager 4.1%

Crisp. Approachable. Classic.
An easy-drinking Aussie lager with restrained hops and malt. Clean, refreshing, and unpretentious. Straight from the bowlo tap.

Hazy Pale 4.4%

Tropical. Hazy. Goodness.
When you brew for your community and they ask for a Pale. You better make sure it’s a banger. Our hazy pale is packed full of citrus & tropical hops, a ﬂuffy tight head & a dry crushable ﬁnish.

Freshie Pils 4.4%

Our signature pilsner built for pure refreshment. Clean and rounded with subtle stonefruit, citrus, and white grape, finished crisp and thirst-quenching.

Bronzer Dark Larger 4.5%

Meet Bonzer Dark, a proper Aussie dark lager done right. Roasty, smooth and straight to the point, built on a clean malt backbone with zero fuss. Easy drinking all year round. Grab a few, settle in and enjoy a dark that doesn’t overthink it.

Slipstream Mid Pale Ale 3.5%

Low ABV, full flavour. Lime zest, grapefruit, and pine with a rounded bitterness and lingering finish. Session strength, IPA energy.

Limited Releases

We like to keep life interesting with a few small batch, seasonal releases on the go. Give the current brews a taste-test on tap at Freshie Clubhouse, and, if all things go to plan, sometimes they’ll be canned and up for take-aways too.
